"Abandoned Midwest:" 2015 Photo Calendar Now on Sale

On sale starting today, "Abandoned Midwest" is a collection of photographs from some of the most popular QC/D articles to date.

The calendar features twelve high quality images from abandoned locations in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania and Kentucky. Chosen from some of the most popular and best received articles on this site, the images include (from left to right):

- A view of the Cincinnati skyline through the broken glass windows of the Hudepohl Brewery.
- The main concourse in Detroit's Michigan Central Station.
- The final resting place of the Circle Line V/USS Sachem "ghost ship."
- Bush Stadium, the shuttered minor league ballpark in Indianapolis.
- The Brighton St. station of the iconic, never completed Cincinnati Subway.
- The Screechin' Eagle Roller Coaster at Americana/LeSourdsville Lake Amusement Park which saw its last riders in 2002.
- The former wave pool, turned swamp of "Surf Cincinnati."
- The idle floors of industry in the Crosley Building.
- A view from the balcony of Detroit's National Theatre.
- A tunnel of the Pennsylvania Turnpike that was bypassed and left to rot (this story is coming soon to QC/D).
- The wooden walkways and huts of Detroit's Belle Isle Zoo.
- A side-by-side comparison of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Detroit showcasing the vandalism and decay over the course of two years.

"Abandoned Midwest" is $19.99 through LuLu and can be ordered here or by clicking the button below. Let's be honest, it's way more interesting wall art than your cubicle neighbor's "cat of the month."
