Seen here are some views from the 71X which loops through downtown, up to Kings Island, and then takes local roads to Fields-Ertel, transitioning from urban to suburban via the highway and is capped by two very different environments.

The Abandoned Railroad Trestles of Ault Park and Their Future

Over the years, people have casually mentioned the railroad bridge towering over Red Bank Rd. as a suggestion of another abandoned location to photograph. Sometimes, they’d also recommend the “hidden” one, another forgotten trestle in the woods, just west of the big one.

Frames from Sunday September 10, 2017

Toynbee Tiles and House of Hades

In search of cryptic messages embedded within the streets—I waited for traffic to subside, jogged out to the middle of the road and knelt down while an idling cab driver eyed me suspiciously.
